Our Fish Food is a special blend of Marine and Vegetable Protein and is made in the USA as

From birth to harvest, Tilapia go through five stages of growth and will need five different pellet 

sizes of feed. As they grow, they have different dietary requirements, and this Fish Food is 

formulae appropriately according to those needs.

When your Fish reach 6 inches, you start feeding them Ultimate Growout Pellet, and you continue

feeding them this Pellet until they are ready for harvest. Ultimate Growout Pellet has 14% less

Protein than the first three Fish Foods at 36% Protein and 11% less Fat at 6% Fat. The Ultimate

Growout Pellet is also a Floating pellet that allow you to monitor how much your fish are eating,

helping you to avoid over or under feeding at this growth stage. Adult Tilapia benefit from lower

fat contents while still getting a relatively high level of Protein. This diet matches that need

perfectly. According to several studies, Tilapia foods high in fat often lead to enlarged livers in

Adult Tilapia, and, in extreme cases, liver failure.

The Sample Price below is for 10 lbs. of Intermediate Pellet. There is no 5 lb. choice as you need 

more Fingering Pellet to get your Fish to 6 inches. The lower price of Intermediate Pellet

compared to Fingerling Pellet has to do with the 5% reduction in Protein. The lower price of

Ultimate Growout Pellet compared to Fingerling Pellet has to do with the reduction in Protein.
