This Class is about the AUSA STEM & CTE Teaching & Food Growing Systems including Hands-On Experience with Operating one of their Systems, using the Super Sprouter to grow Seedlings, an extensive Tutorial about what is included in the 600 Plus Pages of Curriculum that comes with every STEM & CTE Teaching & Food Growing System and an explanation of the Curriculum's Part 2 Activity, which is an Optional Purchase called the "Puppet Theater Kit". That Class is called "Aquaponics For Teachers, Principals & Administrators".
The Second Kind of Class they are Teaching is for everyone who wants to learn the "Basics of Aquaponics", "How To Build Your Own Aquaponics System" and "How A Lettuce Wall Works". That Class is called "Aquaponics Basics & Lettuce Walls".

Oliver also teamed up with our Greenhouse Manager, System Builder and System Designer, Keil Plotczyk, to create improvements on our California Lettuce Wall, when we moved to Arizona and had to re-build our Greenhouse, Lettuce Wall and Fish room. Right now this great Engineer/Design Team are putting their heads together to add small Lettuce Walls to our present STEM & CTE Teaching & Food Growing Systems as Optional Add-Ons, which are coming soon.
But there's MORE. THE FISH!
You can't do Aquaponics without the FISH. People get confused about the difference between Hydroponics & Aquaponics because Aquaponics has borrowed a lot from Hydroponics.
In fact, most of the Growing Environments like Deep Media Grow Beds, Deep Water Culture Floating Rafts and Nutrient Film Technique Troughs have been borrowed from Hydroponics.
The FISH are what's different between Hydroponics & Aquaponics. The "Aqua" Prefix comes from the word, "Aquaculture", which is the Farming of aquatic organisms.
Another amazing sight to see at Aquaponics USA are the FISH because they are huge. Grace & Oliver have not used their fish as Food Fish and have kept them as Worker Fish to fertilize all of their Greenhouse Plants so they have grown to be quite large, and because they have no fear of humans, they come right up to the top of the Fish Tanks when people are around hoping to get food.
